What does the green light on Alexa mean?

Receive, cancel or ignore your call
If your device displays a green light and you have an incoming call, then you could do either of three things. You could receive the call, cancel it or ignore it altogether.
If you receive your call, then the green light will continue spinning, and this will indicate that you are on an active call. You wouldn’t have switched it off immediately; however, after you’re done with it, your device will turn the green light off automatically.
You could also decline your call, which will make the device turn the green light off by itself; however, the very next time you receive your call, your device will display its green light again. Suppose you are having some problems with Alexa understanding your voice commands and you’d prefer switching on the ‘Do Not Disturb’ mode manually. In that case, you’ll need to follow these simple steps on your mobile device:
- Open the Alexa app on your phone.
- Open devices
- Next, tap on Echo & Alexa.
- Tap on your device
- Tap on Do Not Disturb
- Toggle it on to enable “Do Not Disturb.”
Enabling Do Not Disturb on your phone blocks any notifications, including calls typically displayed on Alexa. To disable Do Not Disturb, you’ll need to go through the same process and toggle the Do Not Disturb off on the last step. Disconnecting Alexa from your phone
The green light on Alexa is used to notify you of your incoming and current call notifications. When you get a call, the green light will continue flashing green until you pick it up. Then it will show a steady green glow indicating that you are currently on a call.
However, you could stop it from showing by disconnecting Alexa from your phone.
